This was an excellent overnight stop and rather quaint. It was quiet there were not many residents but it was mid week in winter. This Hotel experience was absolutely faultless from begining to end. We checked in at 2pm after driving down the extremely long driveway(covered in autumn leaves and brimming with red squirrels!!) We stayed for 2 nights , in the elm room which was very pleasent and a good sized bed, deco was very good but a bit old, cob webs on the lights , but that is a very minor complaint . The staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother for them. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing... More
