I stayed with a friend whilst doing the North Downs way, and we found it very pleasant. The room was clean, there was a bath which my friend appreciated, and they provided tea and coffee making facilities as well as two packets of biscuits. The breakfast was more than adequate with tea and coffee, orange juice, cereals and a full... More

Myself and my Mother stayed here whilst attending an event in Canterbury, we were shown to a shabby room on the side of the pub itself, with filthy carpets, smashed tv, hairs in the beds and scum around all plugs in bathroom, to name a few of the disgusting experiences we found whilst staying in the Roebuck. Whilst trying to... More

My Wife and I were extremely upset to hear you had such a bad experience at our Hotel. I do remember talking to you at Breakfast the Morning you checked out. We had just returned from our Holidays. You mentioned the TV but did not make any other comment on the Room, which is unfortunate as we would have made... More

We stayed in a cottage just opposite the Roebuck Inn, and decided to venture out on a snowy evening to the local pub. It turned out to be a good move, and we enjoyed a few drinks in a nice warm lounge area of the bar. It strikes me as a typical English pub - good choice of beer and... More

I stayed one night when attending an event locally. There was a great welcome and quick check in. The room was good, clean, well decorated with a nice bed and a well decorated bathroom (shower only). Breakfast was great and put the icing on the cake as regards the stay. the pub looked good but I did not have time... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was very comfortable and the en suit & shower were exceedingly good. Only complaint - no hook on which to hang dressing gown or wash bag. So only a 9/10 for that bit. The comfortable lounge area of the restaurant was very well used by us as there were no comfy seats in... More

Hi, this is a lovely place with a great pub underneath. it was one of the best nights sleep I have had although the bed squeaked a little when you turned over! I was a little disappointed that the pub shut at 11.00 on a Saturday night but hey ho, lovely cheap little place to stay. The only critique I... More

Once again a fabulous stay at The Roebuck, we enjoyed exceptional Food and were then entertained by a DJ who I believe was a Guest at the Hotel, it was a 50th Birthday gathering and everyone was in great spirits. Last time we stayed Tom and Jackie had just taken over, so so glad to see them doing so well,... More

This was not the worst night's sleep we have ever had but the 2nd (the worst was when we had overnight construction work involving drilling/cement machines). To summarise: 9.45pm Loud Music starts up in the Bar 1.10am Loud Music is still continuing so go down to Bar to ask when will stop and told that they are having a private... More

Our room was No.7, the last down the corridor. The room was nice and clean and to be honest the bathroom was great (the largest shower cubicle ever!). Twin beds were comfortable although mine was very creaky. Nice big TV in the room. It is above a pub and was quiet considering (apart from the drone from what i imagine... More

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the Roebuck following on from a local event. We have had a variety of experiences with room accomodation as part of a public house/restaurant, and arrived with no great expectations. However, the experience was fantastic, and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. On the night of our arrival there... More
