We spent a most enjoyable time at Matfen Hall our one night stay included afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast, the quality of which was of a high standard ,the atmosphere was very cosy,and the setting beautiful.
The staff were efficient and friendly. We felt it was extremely good value for money and will return.

Old style hotell with lots of hallways. Goodd food and nice golf. There is also a spa in the hotell and the staff are nice. Worth a weekend visit.

Stayed for 2 night spa break. Wonderful! Simply wonderful. Room was stunning (delux double). Food was the best ever. Afternoon tea exceptional. Only slight criticism was salt grotto not working and no cups for water drinking fountain in spa. Spa staff quite disinterested in us but otherwise I would definitely recommend.
