Stayed at Patshull Park while attending a wedding at the hotel. The service is brilliant, and views from the front of the hotel are amazing, looking over the great lake. Our room overlooked the golf course and had patio windows/doors. The room was really nice and beds very comfortable. All staff encountered were very friendly. more

This hotel has a fantastic location but the rooms are extremely tired and the hotel is badly maintained. I appreciate it is not trying to be a 5 star hotel but even at this level, chipped paint, damaged wallpaper, limescale on the bathroom fittings just leads me to believe it is badly managed. Good points - Staff are great, the setting is lovely and, contrary to other reviewers, the food we had was great (no fluke either as we had all our meals there). Bad points - the communal areas are seriously shabby and grotty. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls and the sofas are worn and grubby. Our room was clean... more

Just returned from a 2 night golf break and it has been very enjoyable, the golf course is in very good condition for the time of the year, the setting is wonderful, a huge lake surrounds the hotel this also being a fishing hotel.
