We stayed at the Paxmontana Hotel in Switzerland in September 2012 during a whirlwind tour of Europe. We thoroughly enjoyed the change of pace relaxing in this beautifully renovated hotel. Our room had a balcony with a breathtaking view of the valley and mountains. The ringing of the cow bells helped to remind us we were in beautiful Switzerland!

We were so impressed by this property. The rooms were great & service friendly.The restaurant restaurant was very good, but the real "star" of the hotel was the beautiful view. There are no televisions, but binoculars in every room.

This place is a great family or romantic spot with beautiful views of the Alps. The food was excellent, the staff helpful and friendly. A bit off the beaten path, but well worth it it. The church bells every 15 minutes take a little getting use to, but it is part of the charm. Highly recommend a visit.
