Planned on staying 3 days, only able to make it for 2 days. one son woke up with over 15 bedbug bites (or whatever) on his face...could not find hosts enough to tell them...stripped the bed, removed the pillow, etc. I woke up with 4-5 bites on my face the next day. Stayed over the week between Christmas and New Years. The owners who happened to be German made us feel at home. Would stay again if we ever get back that way. Great views of the beach. Wonderful beach! ! !

I have stayed here several times and will stay again. The view from the restaurant the best in the area. I could sit there all day and be happy. Great staff and likely to get Tico experience over less safer, more problematic Playa Samara. But, you get what you pay for and you shouldn't pay more that $50 a night... More

Stayed here on my birthday and was lovely - sitting in the spa, drinking wine overlooking the beautiful bay. Rooms were simple but clean, spacious and had own cooking facilities. Air conditioner worked well and this is a must in Costa Rica! Breakfast (included) was excellent. Would be good for families.

Stayed 2 nights at Carrillo Club in Playa Carrillo--couldn't find any reviews so weren't quite sure what to expect.
