we booked 6 rooms ie. one full cottage for a family trip, the property is situated within a classic estate with pathetic roads where only jeeps can reach. the rooms were dirty and dusty not maintained and the extra beds were dirtier than that ..looked like not been washed fr ages..And their hospitality ...wow the helping staff showed his face...

We booked this hotel or more correctly, a homestay, by calling up the proprietor directly. He was very helpful and informative about the facilities and the route to take.

we went to nelliyampathi without booking a hotel which was stupid - all the ones in our guidebook were booked up and we thought that we were going to have to go straight back down the mountain - a long trip!!!, then someone phoned ciscilia's who had one spare room.
