Such lovely tasteful, comfortable rooms in a wonderful location with delightful hosts Bev and Ron - what more can we say? This is a great place to stop-over if you are doing the seemingly endless east/west journey across NFLD. But more than that: stop here as a base for day trips to Twillingate to see the icebergs. If you are... More

My husband and I stayed at the River Tides bed and breakfast during a recent visit to Newfoundland. We were on our way from the east coast of the island to the west coast of the island and were definitely in need of a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of driving. After a tentative drive down a long, poorly... More

The property is absolutely stunning right on the banks of the river, Our room was very comfortable and spacious, the Breakfast was delicious and our hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We wished we would have booked for 2 nights. We recommend this B & B to anyone traveling in... More

I was traveling alone and the owners left it to me to decide how much interaction I wanted with them. I choice a higher level of interaction having been along for a week already and they were incredible hosts. It was nice to be able to walk along the roadside and/or river bank. Take the road slow. Despite the immaculate... More

We stayed at River Tides on our way to St.John's from Gros Morne and were very impressed! Ron and Beverly are great hosts! We felt right at home in their B&B as did our 2 year old... They were so good with him and we would go back in a second! It is very clean and the house and rooms... More

This beautiful bed and breakfast is set along the banks of a river. It has been naturally landscaped with the yard blending into the riverbank and a path leading down to the water's edge. We woke up to the view of the river outside our bedroom window & then had our morning tea on the porch - incredibly relaxing! The... More

To get to River Tides B&B, you travel down a privately maintained road. The house is lovely and peaceful. You are greeted by Ron and Beverely who enter your life as strangers, but leave as friends. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The bedroom was very clean and attractive with an incredible view. We watched a beautiful sunset... More

This is a lovbely intimate B & B. OUr hosts were welcoming and so hospitable. Showed us the walk down by the river that comes right up to the back yard. The room and bathroom were impeccable, the breakfast very healthful and satisfying. The only drawback if the lack of restaurants in Norris Arm so that you have to drive... More

Wonderful B & B. It is located in a beautiful, serene area and the home and rooms are built to accommodate and enhance the natural environment. The hosts were friendly, warm, and inviting. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well equipped. For all those B & B travelers out there this is a definitely the place to stay. More

My husband and I decided to do our first family vacation with our 6 month old daughter. Our trip started on June 5, 2008 and our first few days in Newfoundland were spent at River Tides B&B in Sandy Point, Newfoundland. The newly built house was on a large piece of land surrounded by tall trees, natural landscaping and to... More
