“A resort with a difference -- covered with hills from all sides”

Dev Cottages - A beautiful resort. Its covered with hills from all sides. They have all basic amenities. The cottages are neat and clean, facing the garden, dense jungle and hills at the same time. We stayed there for around 5 days, and the complete stay was joyous, close to nature, peaceful. They have a common restaurant. One problem is the room service. There are less employees in comparison to big shot Hotels, but it is undersdtandable looking at the costs involved. Also, you need to place your order at least 2 Hrs before the meal.
you can also go for the trekking trail which is close to 16kms. The resort is also close to waterfalls. More

We stayed in Dev cottage from 5 June, 2010 to 8th June, 2010. Hotel is 4 kms from Mcleodganj on a very narrow road. It is located in a very beautiful location and view from the rooms is excellent. Rooms were spacious with all the basic facilities. We booked through http://www.devcottage.com.
Best Experience: View of moutains from hotel is amazing. Rooms were clean and spacious.
Worst Experience: Drive from Mcleodganj to hotel is scary. Room service is bit slow. More
