Our local travel agent for the office booked us there. After having had difficulties even finding it (the road sign was old and washed out so we missed turn-off), we arrived to an empty cliff-side motel like structure. My colleague and I were the only guests (the others according to receptionist had "just" checked out and were returning the next day, what a coincidence). We were asked to pay close to 80% cash down and shown to our rooms at the far side of the structure by 2 workers. On our way down the cliff to our rooms, a kitchen worker stumbled out apparently drunk! We proceeded to our rooms... this was out of a horror movie. My room was opened to reveal: faulty lights, a piece of paper on floor which had obviously been knawed on by a rodent, a filthy welcome carpet and the piece de resistance, a huge (4-5 inches in radius) spider on the wall. The workers did not react to the spider - only to my reaction! It gave the impression that this room had not been occupied in some...
