Another great stay at Holloyways. My 12th stay here over 12 years. The perfect base to go Nth or Sth. Clean tidy and self contained for eating in if you wish, its nice to have that option. Get a cheap reantal car and base here.Top spot. more

We were there for a friend's 50th Bday, and we had a great stay! The staff is very helpful, and the rooms are all 1-BR apartments, so plenty of space, full kitchen, grocery and liquor stores within less than 5-minutes walk. You do have a bit of an ant problem, but that's more about being in the tropics than any... more

Had a week here and enjoyed thoroughly. When booking you are never sure what you will get but we were pleasantly surprised. The location is great, we don't really like to be surrounded by buildings, easy to access the area in both directions. You do need transport as we never saw a local bus. We have stayed there a couple of times now when we have wanted to have a weekend away. Lovely tropical pool set in beautiful gardens. The apartments are clean with a balcony for sitting out and relaxing. Friendly and helpful staff. Resort on the beach and close to Cairns for transport. more
