Charming guesthouse hotel near Passau. In a very small village - a car is necessary. Spotlessly clean and large rooms. No lift. Because of record breaking heat we had to move to a lower floor - no a/c made the top floor uninhabitable. Staff was very accomodating, friendly, and most spoke english. Next door to the village church; loud bells may keep you awake as they ring every quarter hour around the clock. Hotel restaurant has has outdoor garden and good food. More locals than tourists. Not much of a destination, but a pleasant stop on your way through the area.
