If you are looking for a place which provides you with a peaceful and tranquil environment, long walks and a stunning landscape along the coast the Hundred House Hotel might be the right place for you. My hosts, Denise and Richard, were very welcoming and looked after me well. Richard is an excellent chef and the food at the in-house... More

We stayed here for one Friday night on our way to our self-catering cottage in Mullion, as we didn't want to travel from home on a Saturday. To us, it was just somewhere to put our heads for a night, but what a find. We were very sorry to be on our way the next day and have now planned... More

We stayed at the Hundred House with my partner for a week-end in August. On the plus side, the hosts Richard and Denise were aboslutely wonderful, very welcoming and caring. Richard clearly has a passion for food and both breakfast and dinner were very good. The homemade fudge for tea after dinner served in the lounge does it for a... More

During this summer I stayed twice at the Hundred House Hotel for one night each and had the most pleasant time. My hosts, Richard and Denise were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the rooms were quiet, pleasant and clean. The food was an absolute delight and cooked "just so", both times. I will definitely return to the Hundred House Hotel next... More

This is the hotel to go to for either a short break or one/two weeks holiday it is run by an extremely competent, friendly and extremely hospitable husband and wife. It wouldn't matter which room you had because all of them were on a par with each other, beautiful, spotless, comfortable beds and spacious. The food is wonderful and fresh,... More

This hotel is a great place to stay if you want a quiet relaxing stay in a small hotel. The hotel is well placed for the coast and various gardens including Heligan. Our bedroom was very clean and comfortable with the usual television and tea/coffee making facilities and the staff friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The breaksfasts were great... More

In an remote corner of Cornwall a few miles north of St Mawes near the hamlet of Ruan High Lanes lies the Hundred House Hotel. Nestled behind high hedges and almost invisible from the road its unremarkable exterior hides an unexpected treasure. Owners Richard and Denise have created an intimate 9 room hotel which is as welcoming as you could... More
