This is by no means a luxury hotel - and I would suspect not up to normal Mercure standards. However, the room was pleasant, not huge but not too small. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable and I slept very well. The bathroom is 'designer' in style, putting luxury fittings into a very small space, eg table top wash... more

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights over a weekend in August. The hotel is basic, clean & good value in the centre. Recommend it :) more

Booked through the Accor web site. Good price and location in the city center close to the station. Reception staff very friendly and service-minded but got a shock entering the room which is close to the size of a cabin on a ferry. Free WiFi keeps away from coming claustrophobic. Anyhow, here for the city and for not the room.... more

For business reasons I stayded in the mercure in Luxembourg. Take care, there are two of them very close, one opposite the station and another one in side-street around the corner. I write about the second one. Have a look at the map. A small hotel surrounded by a lot of sexshops and streaptease pubs. No girls outside. The rooms... more

This has to be one of the smallest hotel rooms and bathrooms I have ever seen. there was major work going on in the hotel and outside the rooms were piles of laundry. The streets around were the red light district and the noise boure this out. For some strange reason at 2.30 in the morning there was drilling going... more

We made some last minute course corrections to our carefully planned trip to go to Luxembourg and I didn’t research this hotel as carefully as I might have. The hotel is just a few blocks west of the bahnhof. Within walking distance with bags. Once arriving in Luxembourg, we found the hotel and the parking structure. On the way back... more

This hotel is in a rough street - no doubt. But it is the cheapest near the station. There are cheaper Accor hotels at the airport - Etap and Ibis, but only about 10 - 20 euros cheaper. If you want them, they are at Findel airport. Get the 16 bus from outside the station. Its about 40 mins and... more

This property is convenient from the standpoint of being 2 blocks from the main train station. However, the rooms are ultra small (smaller than European average) and have no air conditioning. We sweat the entire time we were in the room. It was not a pleasant experience and we could not wait to leave. The hotel lobby near the elevator... more

Just got back from a 2 day break in Luxembourg and have hardly slept at all! I like Luxembourg very much, and Have been here 4 times in 7 years. 2 of the visits were just in transit on the way to Germany, but this was the 2nd time I had actually stayed for more then a few hours. Last... more

A one night, mid week stay at this hotel, which was, it seems, quite lucky for us based on previous reviews on this site! Location wise it's perfect for the train station - literally 100 yards across the road. However, when we were there the entire street was being dug up so the noise and dust was horrendous. The hotel... more
