If you have to stay in , stay here in Bleriot Plage instead! Les Dunes is a small friendly hotel in the Logis group. It has good restaurant, clean rooms, free WiFi, free car parking and is only 10 minutes drive to the ferries. Reasonably priced, with breakfast included (French style so don't go expecting bacon and eggs even though... More

We stayed for one night and would never stay again. For a Logis de France Hotel this is not up to the usual extremely high standard. We arrived on a Monday evening, having travelled on the cross channel ferry from UK. We knew that the restaurant wasn't open on a Monday evening but that was no problem for us. After... More

Like many others we stopped here for a final night before catching the morning ferry back. The first room we were offered was at the front of the hotel and was hot, cramped and noisy. We were then offered an equally small room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the parking area which was cooler and quiet which we accepted.... We had stayed in other Logis and had good experiences but here the food (very average) and the wine are overpriced.. Our room was very small, but just about adequate - only one small dining chair for sitting - but there is private parking. However, our experience in the restaurant was disappointing. Although there are several menus, the choice of... More

We booked in (without reading any reviews...our mistake ) because it was a Logis and we have always used them in the past with no problems.Room was small and noisy.Food awful.Service terrible.Owner not interested.Wished we had gone to L'Escale at Escalles.

As others have said, this is a restaurant with rooms rather than an hotel, as there is no lounge. Having read the other reviews, I'm obviously going to be in the minority in recommending it. I was visiting with my father & son for the Dunkirk 70th Anniversary & stayed one night. We received an interested welcome due in part... More

First sign of trouble was when we wanted to book room only. Le Patron said 'no dinner, no room'. As others have said, the manager was very rude and walked away in the middle of conversation while we were having dinner. Menu was overpriced for quality. We asked for breakfast at 7.30am (in order to catch Eurotunnel)and were told it... More

We stayed at Les Dunes as it was a Logis and close to Calais. What a mistake. The proprietor was exceedingly rude and seemed wholly disinterested in his guests or indeed the hotel itself. The place smelled like a cross between a kennel and an old people's home, the rooms were poky and, as someone else has noted, there was... More

I think we were the other couple with food poisoning after a stay at Les Dunes - even though we had different meals from the previous couple. We also had seen the hotel before and because it was a Logis de France, we chose it over others. I would reiterate apparent disinterest, almost irritation, from the owner and he kept... More

My husband and I stayed at Les Dunes last week on our way back to the UK after a delightful vacation in France. We had stopped at Les Dunes for lunch about 7 years ago and were so impressed we decided to go again, stay overnight and enjoy dinner. What happened was that we both got food poisoning!! And, in...
