“a not spotless motel”

this is essentially a motel on quite a big road. Staff are civil and beds seem to be stripped every day but there was a bit of a whiff on entering reception, bathrooms could be a lot cleaner and the undersides of white soft slippers were grubby after padding about in the room for a night. Travelling from the south of France a friend had stated Moulins was a good place for an overnight stop while travelling back to the UK. Mercure Hotels are a major chain and usually reliable so I booked this hotel well in advance. Plus points: Huge beds, clean rooms great breakfast and if booked in advance can get a really good...
