This is an older resort that is in remarkably good shape. The grounds, buildings and public areas are well maintained. We just got back from Dunes (Feb 2012) and paid 900$ all inclusive. At that price Cuba and Margarita were our only 2 options. Everything else was over 1000$ easy.
