“A Little Warmth in Czech Republic”

Great host, lovely rooms, fantastic food, good deal. Friendliest people we met anywhere in Czech Republic, except that owners are Dutch ex-pats. Thom, the owner, was the Victor Borge of the Czech Republic. Hilarious host bent over backwards to help and entertain us. Clean, cosy and best of all, warm place to stay in the winter. “Disappointing”

It is a 200 years old ex-castle renovated and transformed to a hotel by a Dutch family. Although very promising at first sight, we were quite disapoointed, having a bad feeling of saving in every aspect - the room is very very spacious, viewing the river, but very simply wquipped - no mirror was crucial for my wife!
