Stayed before a wedding at Ston Easton Park down the road. Found the accomodation to be first class, was much more comfortable than the expesive accomadation at Ston Easton Park and the breakfast was 10 times better and highly recomended although being northern the full english would benefit from the addition of black pudding but thats a small quibble. We booked here thinking that it was going to be a full-size 3-star hotel, not realising that it's what the AA refers to as a "3-star SMALL Hotel". This meant that we were unable to dine after 6.30pm because both restaurant areas were privately booked for the night in question. However, apart from this, we found the hotel to be... More

Wi-fi connection was good and the views from the room a delight. The staff made you feel at home and if there is anything they can do to help make your... More

I am a retired happily married businessman. Since I first discovered Cameley Lodge over thirty years ago I have regularly been back - and it's always a pleasure. The beauty of this hideaway location is perfection: views of the lake & hills are wonderful. The welcome is very sincere, warm & friendly. John, Paula (the owners) lead the team well,... More

Stayed one night whilst touring on a birthday weekend. Lovely quiet location with helpful and pleasant staff when checking in, Hill Crest room comfortable and bright with pleasant view to the nearby church. Booked an evening meal which was also very well prepared and prsented, a little hold up getting drinks at the bar but new staff being trained, but... More

We stayed here in June before heading to Glastonbury Festival. This is a well priced, good value, comfortable and welcoming hotel. The staff were great and could not do enough for us to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The hotel has a homely country feel about it. We had evening meal which was delicious and priced averagely for... More

I can't compliment the staff here highly enough. They were so incredibly thoughtful when we stayed with our 8 month old baby we couldn't believe it. They put us in a room well away from any potential noise, we never had to ask for a high chair, it was always there at breakfast and dinner, they always had a smile... More

I attended a wedding here early September 2010. The wedding was a late start on a sunny day. Excellent decorations inside, tasteful reception! Staff were very friendly and always available. Bar staff polite and never waited too long for a drink despite ebing surrounded by drunk wedding guests! Food was buffet stlye and amazing! By far better than a sit... More

An outstanding, small hotel that excels in all aspects. Forget your 5* hotels ..... Cameley Lodge is better than any hotel we have stayed in .... and we have stayed in plenty. The service is second to none and John and his team could not do more to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible. The food is excellent,... More
