This is a perfect hotel for a weekend away. The hotel, food and location were superb. The staff are really friendly and accommodating and helpful with any questions.
If visiting Kinloch Rannoch, I would recommend walking up schiehallion as the views are spectacular from the summit and also visiting the tea and cake house on the way to Kinloch station.

The Dunalastair Hotel is shabbily charming and set in a lovely village. The drive to it was picturesque but beware drivers racing along towards you on the bends as roads are narrow! Receptionist rather brusque but was impressed on seeing our quaint room overlooking the village square and the hills. Huge bathroom and very comfortable bed. Linen was clean and...

We booked this hotel for one night to recharge our batteries after a hectic time. After reading some of the reviews on here I was more than a little bit skeptical but was delighted to note that there was nothing to worry about with this hotel.
Yes its a little tired looking but it has a quirky charm to it....

From the outside looks lovely and from that walk past. Given as a present from my son and his wife a two night break with wine and chocs on arrival.
Experience much the same as most guests have stated in their reviews, basic room, freezing cold, had to get a few drinks and get into the uninviting bed to keep...

After reading all the comments on trip advisor, my husband & I were not sure what to expect from this hotel. Went there with an open mind!!!
We thought that if it was going to be Faulty towers, then we would just have a giggle about it.
As it turned out, we had nothing to worry about. Staff were lovely...
