I stayed here with my partner for a night away. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a gorgeous meal in the bar as didnt want to eat in the restaurant and the most comftable nights sleep. Well done all at The Wainstones we will be back. More

Stayed here when we were doing the Coast to Coast hike in September 2011. Although they were very busy with a wedding when we arrived nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcome. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The decor was traditional rather than the contemporary look favoured by big chain hotels.
