We stayed here on a Saturday night in December 2011 as we were attending a wedding nearby. The entire place is spotlessly clean and decorated to a modern yet homely style, and to a very high standard throughout. Other reviewers have mentioned the wonderful scenery including the duck pond, all of which is very accurate. Our bed was very comfortable,... More

Myself and my husband booked The Eiders at short notice for an anniversary stay. Despite the short notice, Caroline still went out of her way to leave a card and chocolates with heart sprinkles on our bed, we were so touched! The owners attention to detail is faultless, hair dryers, torches, digital radio and digital tv, tea and coffee-making facilities... More

We late booked at this B & B and we fell on our feet. We were greeted with tea and cake on the decking by the infamous ducks which was a fantastic start. The breakfast's were great, and when Caroline found out about my partner's food intolerances (the request for soya milk was the give away), she provided "free from"... More

This was the second time we have been and it is still fantastic. We stayed for 3 nights and spent many hours round the pool which was sheltered from the northerly winds which had kept us off the beach. As before the breakfast & rooms were all perfect. However the main plus point is Caroline and James, their friendliness and... More

We spent 5 nights at The Eiders B&B in August 2011 and were delighted. Our room and en-suite were in superb decorative order with a beautiful outlook over the duck pond. The breakfasts were superb and the dining room was bright and airy. Caroline is very hard working and made us feel very much at home. The Eiders offers a... More

This B&B is a credit to the UK hospitality industry! On arrival we were greeted not just with the usual hello and information but with a slice of chocolate cake and a cup of tea. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean and tidy and very comfortable, we liked having the small balcony to sit on and watch the ducks.... More

From the lovely husband and wife host team to their many friendly ducks, the Eiders proved to be such a good choice. Easy to reach many places from this location, our room in particular was also very well located within the hotel with its french doors, own decking area and lovely views. Food was excellent quality, as was everything else... More

My family stayed at The Eiders for a two-night break. We booked two rooms - Room 1 for myself, my husband and our two toddlers and Room 3 for my Mum. Both rooms were lovely - spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was a real bonus to have a fridge so we could store fresh milk for the boys. The... More
