We've eaten here loads of times and the food is always good. I have never been disappointed with he steak pie. Not cheap but very good quality. It has recently had a bit of a refurbishment. I like the colours but not sure if it has lost some of the charm it used to have.

We went for a birthday meal as have been going for years, to be welcomed(or not) by a very rude member of staff at the bar! Food normally to a high standard but was particularly average. All new decor but put off by marked/ stained tables very of putting.

We went for a birthday meal the bar staff was rude and arrogant. The food was poor quality and the manner in which it was presented was appalling and would never recommend this Pub/ Restaurant to anyone.

I stayed on 14th April and attended a conference there on 15th. I would highly recommend a stay here and also as a venue for a conference. My husband and I stayed here last weekend, at the recommendation of a friend. When our hostess saw that my husband was in a wheelchair, she immediately looked at swapping our room for one that would be more accessible.
