Hotel is in a lovely village. We stayed in a room in the main building which was beautifully furnished and designed incorporating the old features. Loved the big bath in the bedroom... Bathroom was lovely with a big shower, and the view was out onto the pretty garden. Didn't eat there but had some drinks in the bar which was... More

We stayed here for one night for a wedding recently and had a great time. The service all day was excellent and the food was superb. The only gripe were the room was pretty small for the price we paid (though the bathroom was lovely) and was very hot in the rooms! The grounds are beautiful and plenty of opportunity... More

My wife and I attended here whilst we were completing a pleasant circular walking from Marlow. We have been to The Olde Bell previously for a drink and enjoyed it, so we chose to have lunch here. I ordered the Pork Pie which was £5.20 and my wife had Welsh Rarebit (£6.75). I assumed that my pork pie would come... More

A country getaway without the cobwebs. Great food and service in this gem of a hotel in Berks. Definitely worth another visit. Thou outdoor areas are well appointed, the rooms are spacious and the bed is firm with crisp sheets. We booked dinner in the hotel, and it was every bit as gourmet as a fine London gastro pub. Suitable... More

We had the pleasure of two nights at The Olde Bell whilst visiting family in Marlow. Beautiful room, very spacious for ourselves and our two young kids. Superb food - breakfast particularly nice with freshly baked breads, hot cross buns, etc. we have recommended it to all our friends who need somewhere to stay for a night or for a... More

My husband surprised me with a trip to Hurley and one night at the Olde Bell. From the outside the inn is simply charming. The interior is such a surprise. The frame and essence of the original building are beautifully preserved but the famous interior designer Ilse Crawford waved her chic wand and has created a really calm, sophisticated haven... More

I stayed at the Olde Bell for two nights before and after my sisters wedding. The hotel staff were excellent and the whole stay ran smoothly. I was in one of the smaller rooms in the Malt House which was well appointed and clean. Owing to the wedding I was paying for one night the other being part of the... More

We stayed at The Olde Bell for our 1st wedding anniversary in January, and enjoyed our stay. When we checked in, we were advised our room had been upgraded; a pleasant surprise. We were in a room in the converted barn across the road from the main building, which was very spacious. We'd booked through Mr & Mrs Smith, and... More

This is reputed to be the oldest hotel in Britain. We checked in to a standard room which was small and adjacent to the kitchen extractor units but on request we were moved to a ground floor and larger room in the Barn across the road which was really nice. Beds were very comfortable. The gardens are really nice with... More

We spent our last weekend away before our daughter was born at the Olde Bell in Hurley It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend close enough to London if something happened but felt like we were miles away in different world.  Our room was beautifully decorated with one of the biggest beds we have slept in.  The restaurant was great, with...
