Stayed here for two nights recently. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the room was comfortable. The home made biscuits and real coffee in the room was a treat. All in all we had a lovely stay, just beware of the low door frames!

We had a lovely stay at the Lister Arms. The staff were particularly welcoming and helpful. We'd opted for a DB&B package and the evening meal was delicious. Some of the decor in the room could have done with a little touching up but it certainly didnt affect our stay and I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel kept our bikes safely stored for us as we were completing the way of the roses cycle ride. The food was exceptional.
