Just popped in - hoping for the best! - and my partner and I were not dissappointed. Lovely atmosphere in a pub that reeks of history. Full of locals and a very friendly landlord made us feel very welcome. Good range of ales on offer and very good food at terrific prices. Would definately recommend to friends and family. More

We stayed 2 nights & had a fantastic time. Excellent food & top quality ale. Friendly staff & locals made us very welcome in a lively bar on Friday & Saturday nights. Gammon butties at closing time & the landlord's personal brandy supply are highly recomended. We would definately stay there again. More

Typical English pub with B&B in very convenient location for all major sights in Cornwall. Nice room with all standard amenities (in suite bath, tea/coffee, even some fresh fruit). Great breakfast.
