I have stayed a number of times now and have received the same warm welcome every time. The hotel provides good food, good service and a friendly atmosphere created by the landlord and locals.

Ive been staying at the Plough now for a number of months on and off with work. The welcome that is recieved by staff and locals gives you that 'glad to be back' feeling.
Food is excellent and rooms are clean and fresh even with all the renovations going on this hotel is a great place to stay.

The first thing which strikes you as soon as you walk into this hotel is the welcome you receive from Simon, the proprietor, the staff and most of all a lovely big golden retriever. We could not fault the rooms, the service or the first class cuisine. Even the local villagers were most welcoming in the bar area.
