If you intend to visit the Castles of Chenonceau and especially Chambord but also a few others I recommend this hotel which is close located. You'll find a new built small hotel with a friendly english-speaking manager who runs almost the hotel by himself, prepares the sufficient breakfast, sells wine and non-alcoholic drinks. 200 meters away a one-star-restaurant is located....

We booked a triple room for two nights and were really pleased with our stay. The room was actually a huge apartment with a full kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, a dining room, balcony and bedroom. It was a good location for visiting the Loire valley as long as you have a car. The receptionist was very friendly but wasn't around all...
