I Really liked this hotel. Rooms are very small but I think that is pretty much the same everywhere in Tokyo. The bathrooms are kind of like a self contained "pod" and very compact but very good. The room was very clean and has nice little extras...

Stayed a few years ago -- this property used to be the Hotel IBA Ikebukuro. Maid service was excellent; room was clean and smelled fresher than many Japan hotels (re: no real smoke smell in rooms). Front desk staff professional and tolerant of my (questionable) Japanese language skills. Did not encounter an English-speaker while there, but made due. Semi-double bed...

I stayed at this hotel a few years back and it's close to shopping and restaurants. Especially Anime & Manga fans will find it convenient for shopping.
The rooms are decently large for Tokyo, the bathroom quite small though. Amenities were okay. The room was very clean.
There is a free internet station in the lobby that you can use....
