We found a good deal from Expedia i'm pretty sure, like $119 a night or something which was good at peak season when we went as it was climbing season for mt.fuji. The location was a nice walk to the train station (10mins walk) and good food like basically across the street. There is a convenience store in the building... more
Stayed for 1 night at end of 3-week trip in Japan. By far, this was the worst hotel we stayed at throughout the holiday. This hotel is in Shinjuku but a solid 20-minute walk to Shinjuku station so not that convenient with luggage. The rooms are tiny with barely enough space to move around. My wife and I travel EXTENSIVELY and this is by far the worst we've ever been in. The hotel has a central ventilation system and by the flick of a switch, it's either a heater or a cooler. BTW, this switch is flicked by the time you are there, and not by what the weather is for the day. We... more
Very functional hotel with extremely helpful staff. Fantastic location five minutes from the station but nice and quiet at night. Compact and clean rooms with everything you need. Nothing bad to say at all! more
1) Poor coordination and communication My friend paid for her accomodation on 22nd October, but hotel refused to let her check in and refused to provide refund. Got a good deal on the hotel on Expedia. About a 10 minute walk from the Shinjuku station. Close to all the excitement of Shinjuku/Tokyo. Room was small, but for the price I can't complain.
