The Hotel is conveniently located, not far from the subway stop and Shinjuku. The room is rather small but beds are comfortable. The tiny bathroom had a bad smell that wouldn't go away. The carpet has seen better days. Nice little continental breakfast included in the price. The price is good for Tokyo and we would have been satisfied had... more

We stayed for 3 nights and chose the hotel based on price and location. Both were fine - changing onto the Keio new line is fairly easy once you've done it once, and it was only a problem when we came back late at night (after midnight) and had to wait about 15 mins for the train - it would... more

The hotel is really inexpensive but very clean for the cost. Of course the room is small but it was perfect for just one person. The internet service was free too! The location is really convenient, it's really close to Shinjuku station so it's easy to get around. Since you're in a residential district it seems pretty quiet at night... more

Nive hotel. Small room with a small window from which you could see next building stairs(0.5meters). The dryer couldn´t dry the clother after using it for a long time. Near to Shinjuku, but using a new subway line, a lot of time to transfer to the other subway lines. Breakfast included in the room fare. more

Clean room and friendly staffs, who mostly can speak and understand english. I like it there because it is within the residential area, so that you can have a feel of a japanese neighborhood. It is very near to Hatagaya station. It is a good stroll in the evening from Hatagaya to Shinjuku. Especially after a good dinner in the... more

Stayed here for 5 nights and found it to be a great little hotel/hostel. Rooms are very small but you are never in them as Tokyo has so much to see! Breakfast was quite limited.....toast! And coffee/tea, but there is a bakery around the corner so we used to refuel there. Hairdryers in room, shower was always hot and powerful.... more

Yes, Hatagaya is not a major station, and finding the Keio New line from Shinjuku took quite awhile, but once that is sorted out, I liked the convenience of the hotel from Hatagaya hotel. Do be aware that weekday mornings, the trains from Hatagaya to Shinjuku are madly crowded. be prepared to squeeze on the train, with no little beathing... more

Location: You would think that Hatagaya is a major station but it's not. You need to take Keio Line to reach Hatagaya and the frequency of trains is not very good (as compared to others in Tokyo). Hotel is just a walk away from the station, which is good. Check in: Staff just did not understand English, especially the night... more

Stayed in this property the first time i was in Tokyo. it's situated about 3 minutes from the Hatagaya subway station, just off Shinjuku. For a budget hotel this is actually quite good. The rooms were small but the beds were reasonably comfortable and bathroom... tiny (as usual.. for japan hotels). Breakfast was normal, toast and butter/jam with coffee/tea. If... more
