Lunahuana is barely a 2 hr drive from Lima and nowadays offers a few good choices in hotels. La Confianza is one of the smaller ones, a very secluded hideaway, quiet, away from all the tourists and taxis that today buzz about Lunahuana. Classic A frame cabins with BBQ pits available. We even BBQed a turkey and made gingerbread houses for Christmas. Awesome. More

Don Pedro is a wonderful guy and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot. It is beautiful place for retreat, far away from the noise and activity at Lunahuana. More

Just past Lunahuana, La confianza sits near the end of a dirt road and across a river in peaceful silent beauty. The bungalows here are perfectly simple, clean rooms and bathrooms.
