After arriving in La Spezia without reservations, we found the hotels filled. Helpful staff at one of the full hotels suggested we try Sarzana, one exit southeast of the La Spezi exit on the Autostrada A12. Location: there are alot of free parking around but in front of the hotel always traffic .. and far from attraction places .. you should have a car or taxi to visit attraction places. Sport: this places are excellent for Cyclist .. alot of bike shop and one of them with in 50 meter from hotel .. if you like... More

This is the kind of hotel that gives Italy a bad reputation. It's NOT close to the historical center, as they pretend, but on a highway with a lot of heavy traffic that you have to cross to get to the center.
