According to the receptionist the hotel opened in May 2009 and therefore the hotel itself as well as the furniture is brand new and without any ugly traces from other travelers.
It is located directly at the Rursee (lake Rur) and has a large terrace with view to the lake. There is plenty of space to park cars right in...

Spent a night here while touring with wife and dog. Had trouble finding it but that was due to believing the satnav - it is actually next to a main road. Completely new hotel built by the side of a reservoir. Compfortable rooms, nice sauna and a good restaurant although the service was a bit slow and it wasn't cheap....
