Just got home after our 3rd time staying at Brookside - Karen and Alan are such a hospitable couple - as usual, they couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable - even driving us to the local restaurant, plus an enormous help in getting up early to make our sandwiches and coffee for our ferry trip from Rosslare. Thank... More

My wife and I stayed 1 night at the Brookside. We were treated like a king and queen. Every thing, the reception, information about the region, the wedding cake, breakfast... was EXCELLENT. Thanks Karen you made our stay wonderfully memorable. More

Brookside B&B owned and run by the wonderful Karen was a highlight of our trip, the B&B is lovely, large pretty room, immaculately kept, great bathroom and delicious breakfast. The surrounding area is magnificent with local pub and restaurants adding to the experience. Karen is a fantastic ambassador for the Irish hospitality and really enhsnces the B&B experience. We stayed one night in this comfy little gem. Everything has been said by other reviewers - not to be missed. We were advised where to eat that evening and what to have. Great pub and lovely meal. More

This was our first experience at a B and B in Ireland. Karen and Alan exemplified the Irish tradition of making one feel welcome. The faclities were exceptionally clean and welcoming. Their suggestions for dinner and visiting the town were right on. We only stayed one night, but wished we would of had an extra night or two. The breakast... More

My husband & I arrived after 8:00 PM on the night of our stay. The owner went out of her way to help us find the B&B and was waiting in the doorway when we arrived. After we got settled in she found us a restaurant that was still serving food and it turned out to be one of the... More

Sadly only spent one night here on a whirlwind one-week tour of Ireland but it was such a wonderful introduction to the country. Karen and Alan were unbelievably kind and gracious hosts and their home was so lovely. We had a beautiful room, fantastic dinner recommendation from Karen, delicious breakfast and wonderful conversation. If I had it to do over,... More

I spent two nights with Karen and Alan at their fantastic B&B. I received a very warm welcome indeed and Karen couldn't have been more helpful in recommending places to eat and to visit in the area. My room was spotless and very comfortable, and all the arrangements were faultless. My breakfast was delicious and very plentiful - served hot... More
