We have just returned from a beautiful weekend at the Sporthotel Achental. From the outside the hotel looks somewhat dated...but only at very fist sight! Once you're inside the hotel turns out to be a perfectly well-kept and charming place. Our room was very spacious, clean and convenient (we had room 334). Very nice views. The staff was pleasant. We ate dinner there and opted for the buffett. Perhaps it was our American view of food preperation - but there were flies all over the food. It didn't seem to bother any of the locals, but it didn't help our appetite. There was also a large football team staying in the hotel... more
