This is a lovely old farmhouse with rooms of great character in either a 15th century former granary or 16th century 'trulli' (rustic stone houses), and the surrounding area is beautifully quiet and ideal for walking, cycling, or just enjoying the sun. However, what makes it a true B&B is the human touch. Marta and her mother will give you... More

We liked the hotel's location- perfect base for exploring the Val d'Itria. The breakfast was really wonderful! (yogurts, home-made cakes, jams, etc). Loved the old stone trulli.. but the owner was a bit difficult. She brought people into our room while we were there to show them what our room looked like (very bizarre), then she came into our room... More

Great breakfast, all made by the mother and fresh cheese& yoghurt from the local every morning. The garden (everywhere around the B&B), where you have breakfast is so cosy and you must get "this is a holiday" feeling. I recommend you to have dinner there one of your stay. Mamma's simple pasta was amazing and the other dishes she cooked... More

Everything we wanted to experience in Italy. Staying at Masseria Sacerdote was a highlight of our trip. The Piccone family have carefully restored their Masseria and many Truilli into lovely accommodation. Truilli are small dry stone buildings over 600 years old. They have domed ceilings and are surprislingly very light inside. It was hot, being July, but we always felt... More

We booked this B&B for three nights because we wanted the experience of staying in trulli type accommodation in the countryside - and that we had! In this family run B&B our "trulli" rooms were rustic and basic (sofa bed - which needs to be rectified with a proper bed). Otherwise, the garden areas are attractive, with different spaces to... We stayed at the Masseria Sacerdote in May, and were struck by the beauty and simplicity of the trulli. Our son met us there and, although he is 6 feet tall and couldn't quite stand up in his shower, he enjoyed every minute of living in such a unique setting. Our trulli were quite comfortable and as clean as a... More

We loved the experience of staying in an actual trulli that has been carefully restored. Furnishings are simple, but the bath is new, and our trulli even had a fridge. The breakfasts at this masseria were the best we had in southern Italy. Dinner is not served, but it was suggested that we go to another farm nearby where we... More
