We absolutely loved our stay here! It is a beautiful castle and the room was spacious and clean with an amazing view over the garden. However I thought it was a shame that the furniture didn't really match the feel of the castle and the bathroom was quite small with an awkward shower. If it wasn't for these two things... More

Very nice castle in a wonderful landscape. The service is friendly, but not perfect. Breakfast was okay, but not really good. We came half an hour before the buffet closed and everything was unappetizing and some plates were empty. We stayed 2 nights in a suite, the room was clean and okay, but not really with charm and taste. No... More

We stayed for four nights in the Purschenstein. To make it short: An excellent experience in an excellent hotel. The ambiente is undiscribable beautiful, the food one of the best I ever had, staff very friendly and professional. The only small critics I would have is the bed as this does not correspond with the rest of the interieur. Too... More

This newly renovated schloss hotel south of Dresden still has some work to do to become as good as it could be, but the new chef at the restaurant is amazing. We had the best two meals we have experienced during 5 years of living in and travelling extensively in Germany. Easily worth 2 nights to stay here and enjoy... More

It was lovely staying in this former castle. Beautiful and well-restored property. Though my room was in the attic and probably not as spacious as the others on the lower floors, it was very comfortable. There is no airconditioning, however, so one has to keep windows open, which in the case of my attic room, was just a very small... More

We stayed for 5 nights in suite nr 12 and we can recommend the hotel. Included in the competitive price of the culinar-cultural arrangment is a daytrip to Dresden and one tp Prague.Have also some time to walk in the woods and meadows and enjoy the landscape.Staff is friendly and correct.Golf nearby is of average level but ok for some... We stayed here for five nights on a special package deal: a luxury suite, buffet breakfast every day, two evening dinners, transfers to and from Prague airport, two full-day excursions (Dresden and Karlovy Vary), a guided tour of the castle, free local museum entry and one days car hire (which we did not use) - a pretty good offer. The... More

Consider this hotel 'under construction' For the building, as well in developing towards a full service hotel. Our room was a bit small, beds were fine but standard size (2m). Friendliness of staff varies. They provide good transfer service (paid) from Dresden (bahnhof) to Neuhausen. All over decoration of the hotel is awkward. Furniture and art could have been picked... We visited in Winter and I would not recommend doing so without proper snow and ice gear to access the hotel from the parking lot. They do not clear the parking area or driveways. The restaurant was only accessible by walking down an icy hill from the hotel. I called and inquired about accessiblity, etc before choosing to stay in... More
