We stayed at the Thalhamer Hof for one night during Oktoberfest 2007. We took the train to Munich and walked to the Oktoberfest grounds.
The staff at the Thalhamer Hof were very helpful in giving us directions to the train station and to the airport. The hotel is not too far from the airport.
