Authentic open and rolling countryside charmed us on our stay. As did the comfortable apartment and hospitable Enrico. He and his staff were the most charming hosts. Let him cook for you one of the evenings of your stay and you won't be disappointed. Wonderful base to see the Val d'Orcia and Monte Amiata. And so close to Siena too!

Have you ever dreamed of staying in a comfortable stone apartment in Tuscany, wine on the terrace, walk through the olive groves, visit Montepulciano and Montelcino by day and return at night to an amazing dinner cooked from local produce by host Enrico then this is your dream come true. A true highlight of our trip.

We staid at the Antica Tenuta Le Casacce in September 2012. The host, Signore Enrico, was wonderful and accommodated a booking mistake without problem. Let's see, a few highlights: - Location: high on the hills of Tuscanny, with a beautiful view. From there you can go and visit the beautiful towns of Tuscanny or just take pictures of this amazing... I was here for the second time, and this is a place to be back again and again for sure. Pro's: - Friendliness of the onwer - Outstanding quality of dinners - Wine list (from solid local wines to unusual and hard to find grapes, such as Ciliegiolo, to once-in-a-year bottles that you will (happily) remember for long - Garden... This place was not suggested by a well know Italy traveler but my bf found it online and he found a charm of a place. Very relaxing, big room and clean. We looked forward to our dinners nightly at 8 p.m. sharp where we dined on a different menu every night paired with great wine.

We had an amazing stay in a fully self contained apartment with beautiful views over the stunning lanscape. Enrico and his crew were so welcoming and bent over backwards to give us anything we needed or wanted. The dinners were a highlight with Enrico oozing pride and passion as he introduced each course of the feast. Take some deep breaths... More

A little bit in the middle of nowhere, but fairly easy to find. They've got an excellent restaurant, where the owner cooks a different menu every evening with delicious foods from the region. It is pretty cheap too. We paid 70euro for 2 persons including an excellent Vernacchia wine!

Very good to pluck the tourists. You should be able to pay for your under 1 year old babies sit at the table! Very beautiful place and some delicious cooking, but not everything is like the chef description and sometimes you get in touch with very saving oriented atmosphere. Avoid extras and buying local products.
