I came back after 6 years, now with my girlfriend, and I was delighted to find that the hotel is always a top-level one and, moreover, that it has improved in many aspects since my last stay. For example, in the meanwhile, the swimming-pool is full operative and the dining space is much wider. Moreover, the surrounding hills have been... More

As always the italians were welcoming and helpful. Good room quiet location, when the church clock stops at 11. Food good though we could have had more salads. C lean sheets every day! Too much breakfast. L Better than any hotel in Orat San Giulio.

Yearly, I visit the Orta lake region in the Summer time. Although the area is absolutely stunning, I have always been a little disappointed by the few existing hotels around Orta San Giulio. This year I decided to overnight in Armeno at hotel Cortese : its modern and stylish look on the website was very appealing and the information given... More

We dined at the hotel while travelling through the area. Food is delicious and excellently presented with great variety. The restaurant is both indoor and on a shaded patio area to cater for all seasons. Excellent service and friendly staff. Would certainly recommend.

Nicely situated in the mountains above Lake Orta. Good facilities with a nice open air pool and very good restaurant. The menu changed daily and reflected local cuisine. The bed in our room was uncomfortable with a very hard mattress. Adequate car parking. Wifi was on a prepay basis and the air conditioning was not very effective in the bedroom.... More

The hotel was built in a modern style couple of years ago but already seems quite worn off. The rooms are small und the sound insolation is deplorable. The air-conditioning was set centrally on 23 C - you could not have any influence on the temperature. Internet access is 5 EUR/hour. The breakfast buffet does not hold to the alleged... More

I stayed in this hotel for two nights on a business trip. Upon arrival, I was very impressed with the look of the hotel and the grounds it was situated in. Check in was efficient and my room was clean and modern. My only small gripe was that I seemed to have one of the few rooms with just a... More

It's a new hotel (built in 2005). It offers several points of meeting: the inner hall, the outside hall near to the swimming pool, the s.p. itself,.. There is a lunch room inside as well as outside, with a fresh air coming from the near mountains. Right outside the hotel there is a "percorso-vita" where you can breathe in the... More

Rooms lovely, spotlessly clean, serviced each day however no air conditioning or swimming pool when we stayed in early May, and in spite of what they told us there was no mention of this in brochure. Food and drink prices in bar changed randomly. Also charged €40 per night for camp bed for 4 year old and €10 per night... More
