This backpackers was stop 2 on my road trip from Cape Town to Durban and I have to say I really enjoyed it! They have a great bar which is really nicely decorated, also very reasonable prices. The room was big and spacious and had a very interesting outdoor en-suite so you could lie in the bath and look at... More

We camped in our rooftop tent in Mantis & Moon so I have no idea how the rooms actually are, we were self catering too so the same goes for the food served there. My main concern is the total lack of security there. Sure, as you drive in to park your car, there's a coded gate, to get to... More

I loved loved loved my time here! The staff was amazing and the location is super! The beds were definately not the best during my trip but still I would say that this is one of the best hostels I stayed in during my 9-month Round The WOrld trip! Every night they offered really nice dinner. Go there! When you're... More

I stayed here for 2 nights as I was travelling on the bazbus and it didn't run the next day, but as soon as I got here I wanted to leave. Rooms are dark and dingy and the bedding looks like it has never been washed, and you don't even have to get close to realise it absolutely stinks. I... More

The hostel is in a quiet residential neighborhood, about a 10 minute walk from a beautiful beach with a surf break. We stayed in a double room – which was a small one room cottage/shack, big enough for a double bed and room to walk around it, but little space for luggage. It was dark, damp and smelled like it... This is one of the best backpackers I ever stayed in. It is situated in a pretty boring place, but the backpackers makes you feel like you're in the jungle, especially if you stay in one of the treehuts. More
