We went there as a family in order to visit Longleat. What a fabulous place to stay. Warmly welcomed by Jack, who then showed us all around the farm and brought us tea on the lawn. After a very pleasant night we were presented with one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had anywhere, the highlight of which was the...

Fantastic accommodation, location, views, hosts, breakfast and farm animals especially Gracie, Florence and Charlie. We loved our stay and my husband is very hard to please! We have stayed at numerous hotels and B and B's over the years and this is certainly one of our favourites. Thank you to Margaret, Steve and family for a great stay.

We had 2 rooms here for 3 nights in 2011. When we arrived with some goods from the grocery store, Margaret set up a picnic table for us so we could have dinner in front of the mill pond. This is the most picturesque place we have ever stayed in and we will be back. The village of Horningsham is...

Fabulous breakfast - still not hungry at teatime! Excellent location for popping in and out to Longleat. Margaret and Stephen very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Kids enjoyed seeing the new chicks and Charlie the dog. Just would have liked shower curtain/shower wall hook (Margaret said they plan to do this) in Blue Room - otherwise 110% for everything...
