We ate in the pub on the evening of our stay and the food was very tasty and good value for money. The following morning the... More

A friendly welcome from a local's pub with a log fire and plenty of atmosphere. 3 courses plus a half bottle of wine for £15.95 - you can not bet that for value. More

From the moment we arrived we loved the place Elaine made us feel very welcome and was very informative as she showed us to our room, advising us to book a table if we wished to use the resteraunt that evening as it had been a busy week. Had a lovely short stay here, owners were very friendly and accomodating and worked very hard to make sure that everyone was well looked after and happy. The food here was amazing, really lovely, and we were a table of fussy eaters, so no complaints from us! The rooms I will say are a little dated, obvious signs of modernisation... More

Then as weather was pretty grim i.e.torrential rain, we decided to drive on and find somewhere else... More
