We were met by Mary as we drove in and were greated with great enthusiasm. Mary is very personable and immediately made us feel welcome. She showed us where our room was and also gave us a tour of the bed and breakfast. The room was very comfortable and very clean. We were given instructions on the best places to... More

Had a wonderful stay, comfortable beds, handmade soaps, delicious multi-course breakfasts and conveniently located within the Annapolis Valley. Mary is naturally a great host, and I'd wholly recommend staying here if you're in the area. More

The Carwarden B&B was by far the house we loved the most during our 3-week stay in Nova Scotia. Everything was just perfect and we took Mary into our hearts right from the beginning. She made us feel comfortable every minute - starting with a delicious breakfast, giving us a lot of information about sightseeings and restaurants. It was hard... More

This is our second stay with Mary at Carwarden. Having stayed with her during our last visit to Nova Scotia. The breakfasts were as wonderful as we remembered, with her special homemade applesauce. Our room was huge and overlooked the Annapolis Valley. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on her wrap round porch in the early evening. Mary is... More

My wife and I visited Wolfeville for the second time and called Mary, hoping that there was a room available. Our second stay was as fabulous as the first. Mary is wonderful and keeps the101 year old house in excellent condition. The rooms are very comfortable the breakfast is plentiful. A great Lobster at Hall's Harbour is not far away... More

Knowledgeable and interesting host who has lived her life in the Annapolis Valley and can give great advice on what to see and which restaurants to try. Room was clean and comfortable, the farmhouse was fascinating and breakfast was great. Location is within easy reach of Wolfville and Annapolis Valley attractions. My wife and I really enjoyed the stay. More

We were made to feel at home by Mary in her lovely old home. She is a very warm person and gave us a great insight to the background of the area. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and Mary was happy for us to put together a light meal in the evening in her... More

Carwarden was a heritage house located among rolling green fields in the beautiful Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. The house was spacious and very well kept. The furnishings were simple country style and antique pieces were displayed in a tasteful manner. The stairs leading to the rooms on the second floor was impressive with its dark and well-polished solid wood.... More
