My wife and I stayed at this hotel at the start of our Honeymoon. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted with a warm reception, bottle of wine and fabulously lit bedroom with candles. This was a perfect start to our trip in Mexico and we would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone wishing to experience a... More

Arrive late at night (10pm) from the El Chepe. Looking to go out to eat, but on arriving at the hotel we were shown to a small room at the front of the hotel. Unfortunately, the girl at the desk didn't speak English so our chance of getting something to eat ended up being an early night in a very... More

This was an extremely charming , elegant hotel with beautiful rooms in an old restored house . The receptionist Alejandra was extremely helpful and welcoming with very very good english . She went out of her way to be extremely kind to a very weary traveller . Would highly recommend a stay here if you are on your way to... More

We stayed 2 nights at the end of our Copper Canyon trip and were very impressed. It is a small yet well appointed hotel within walking distance to the main sights. The hotel staff were not intrusive but very helpful whenever we had questions. More

This is an old house, beautifully and thoughtfully converted into b&b accommodation. Rooms are centred around a small courtyard and furnished with antiques and unusual pieces. There is an honesty bar and breakfasts are made in front of you by the welcoming and friendly staff. The hospitality could not be better. The property's age does make it subject to a... More

This little boutique hotel is charming and lovely. The staff made my husband and I feel very welcome right away. The rooms are all comfortably and elegantly decorated with a main theme color. A real treat! We hightly recommend it! More

At the outset I should point out we arrived here late in the afternoon at left for the airport next day at 6.30am so its difficult to give a really fair impression and anything said must be judge in that context. The hotel was quite charming set with the rooms set around a beautiful courtyard. The Lady at reception when... More

I very nice find. One of the best places on the recent trip. Owner is Valenciano (Spanish); very welcoming. Very good location, a short walk to the city center. Beattiful restoration/conversion into a small B&B. Neat decoration with semi-antiques. Some of the original tile floors remain. Our room even had a small library, albeit in Spanish. Interesting to read Hamlet,... More

The description boutique in relation to accommodation varies place to place, but this hotel fits our understanding of the term very well. Small (5? rooms), converted from a family home but retaining much of the family character. Well-appointed room with a particularly good bathroom. We had breakfast in the kitchen diner with the food cooked in front of us –... More
