Room average nothing special rather small, bathroom nice size, it may have been different if we had the view of the lake but we didn't have a view. Stayed for one night whilst travelling up to Glasgow on business. This hotel is just a few miles off the M6 but takes you to a different relaxed place that is great to wind down before hitting the road again the next day. The staff are friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our night in the Haweswater. Felt like we had been transported back in time, old fashioned but in a nice way. Had a suite with view of reservoir, very comfortable. We had a balcony but weather didn't permit us to use it unfortunately. Will definately return to this hotel. We had dinner in the hotel - lovely meal.... More
