Very hospitable welcome! Because we were the only guests, we were upgraded to a beautiful appartment in a refurbished stable free of charge. The best breakfast we have had in Italy, all you can eat! All of this set in breathtaking scenary. A true gem! More

My wife and I traveled with her parents to Vittorito in the Abruzzo in order to research her family history. Although we didn't locate any relatives, we had the most fantastic time staying at the B&B Il Minotauro. Barbara and her family welcomed us with open arms and by the time we left, it felt as if we had found... More

Vittorino is a charming village in the Abruzzo mountains just 5 mins off the autostrada. The house has a selection of rooms and we stayed in the apartment on the top floor which has the benefit of a kitchen/dining room and a terrace. Barbara was very friendly and helpful providing us with all sorts of advice and history of the... More

Il Minotauro has a truly historic ambiance, yet it has all the modern conveniences. The bathrooms were fully up-to-date and internet is available in the house. It is spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. Best of all, the hosts - Barbara and Ernesto- are simply wonderful; throughout our stay they were friendly and approachable; their in depth knowledge... More

I can't say enough good things about Barbara and her B&B. Barbara is incredibly kind, welcoming and generous with her time, information, space - she truly wants visitors to enjoy their stay in the region and she will go to great lengths to assure you do. The B&B itself is off the beaten path in a tiny village so you... More

We stayed at 'Il Minotauro' for two nights in August '08 and were totally blown away by the hospitality and modern comfortable rooms in this unassuming little town with an amazing history. The rooms are housed in an ancient building that has been completely re-done and belies it's external appearance. The bed was super comfy and beautifully appointed. The bathroom... More
