“Nice place, if you want to stay a night in Penafiel”

Average 3 star hotel, probably one of the best places in town. Located at a very busy road with traffic all day and night. Rooms rather small. Restaurant is good. Penafiel has its castle, nothing more. Wineries don't offer many possibilities to visit. More

We are on our way down to the South of Spain and needed somewhere to stay. A little off the beaten track but Penafiel is worth a detour for the castle and the wine and this is a good hotel to stay at. The staff are very attentive and the food at the restaurant very good. More

The Hotel Ribera Del Duero seems to lack the charm of its surrounding area. It’s old and big, and I got the sense that it had seen its heyday and/or primarily caters to business travelers.
