We had booked an overnight stay at this rather well located hotel that is also becoming a little tired. It had a very welcoming English speaking receptionist, who was rather graceful at my poor attempts at speaking French. She also assisted at breakfast, again with a friendly smile making guests feel welcome.

As we came at 11 p.m the hotel receptionist told us there we no rooms any more and we were sent to this terrible hotel. A good room, ideally the junior suite, friendly staff, a good breakfast make excellent value for money. For no frills food at good prices visit the brasserie next door, which is part of the hotel.

Comfortable beds but not good value for money. Restaurant poor - unable to serve white wine at cool temperature... very ordinary food - overpriced. Breakfast - excellent coffee but again, overpriced. Do not put your car in the garage.... pigeon's mess appalling....
